Hearts of Oak defeated
Rock Stars 2-1 in a friendly game played at the Swedru Park on Sunday.
Christopher Bonney opened the scoring from the
penalty spot in the 32nd minute to give Hearts a one goal lead at the break.
New signing Bernard Arthur grabbed his debut
goal on the hour mark with a fine curling effort from outside the area.
Rock Stars reduced the deficit courtesy of a
well taken free kick in the 75th but there was not to be late drama as Hearts
held on for the win.
The Phobians are preparing ahead of their face
off with arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the President’s Cup.
