Hearts of Oak new
striker Bernard Arthur is not easily settling with his new team mates and the
striker has confessed ‘it’s not easy settling with the new boys.’
Bernard joined the Phobians earlier this month
and has struggled to settle with his new team mates but he’s sure it will
improve.
“There are a lot of young players in the team
now and I need to adapt to the team.
“The fact that I’ve played outside the shores
of Ghana doesn’t mean things will be easy for me,” he noted.
“I need to adapt, get into the first team and
get my goals coming,” he added.
Seven key players of the Hearts of Oak set up
are with the national U23 and Black Stars B sides and Bernard will have to
settle with the new boys, most of whom are promoted from the junior side
Auroras.
The inexperience of the young boys show almost
always making it difficult for the new striker to be scoring at will.
Bernard joined Hearts after stints with Ain
M’lila of Algeria and Azam FC of Tanzania.
He previously played for Liberty Professionals
in the Ghana Premier League.
