According to sources, she had left her home with an 8- month-old pregnancy, and she informed her husband who was also identified as Promise Ukaonu, that she was going to stay with her brother for a while at Mbaitoli.
However, just some few days after she left home, she sent a message to her husband that she lost the pregnancy.
She then proceeded to a baby factory where she gave birth with the help of two nurses, whose names were given as Esomonu Dorathy and Eke Catherine.
Her husband was not satisfied with his wife’s narration so he decided to report the matter to the police.
It was during the investigation that the police discovered that Chinasa sold the baby for N500,000 to one Mrs. Chioma Amadi. The child has since been recovered.
