The
president of Nigeria, His Excellency Mahammadu Buhari has given restictions to his ministers as
well as other people involved in his government.
From the
president, ministers can only travel out of the country eight times in a year
disclosed by Information, Culture and Tourism Minister Lai Mohammed.
According to
the minister, president Buhari has directed that no minister should go on
foreign trips more than twice in a quarter.
Again, no
minister on a trip outside the shores of the land should go with more than four
aides, who should be relevant to the trip.
Besides,
government officials below the rank of ministers are henceforth entitled to
fewer aides. Estacode would no longer be calculated on hourly basis, he added.
