Pep
Guardiola has admitted defeat in the Premier League title race.
His
Manchester City side were only able to draw with Crystal Palace on
Saturday,
leaving them 13 points behind Liverpool at the top.
“We did
everything to win the game and unfortunately in the end we lost two points
because we could not stop the counter attack,” Guardiola said after the 2-2
draw in which they conceded a late equalizer.
“But we have
to continue, there are still a lot of games to play. We have to try to secure
the place for the Champions League next season.”
City are 14
points above fifth-place Manchester United in the Premier League.
