Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris has completed his move to
French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
Waris,
28 joins on loan until the end of the season from FC Porto and will wear the
jersey number 8.
The
deal according to L’Équipe obligates Strasbourg to make the deal permanent for
€2m after the player meets expectations. Waris has been on the fringes at FC
Porto and has been loaned to various clubs ever since he joined the Portuguese
giants.
His
move to Strasbourg sees him return to a league where he relatively enjoyed good
spells Valenciennes, Lorient and more recently FC Nantes.
