A gory accident has left seven people dead as they were
traveling from Osramani to Gyasayo in the Krachi West District of the
Oti region today the 15th of February, 2020.
Reports from Obrempongba Kwame Owusu of Adom News, 51 others who are in
critical condition have been rushed to the hospital and are receiving medical
attention.
Some of the passengers were Seventh
Day Adventist (SDA) students returning from the funeral of their headmaster,
Theo Yaw John.
How The Accident Occurred;
According
to one of the victims identified as Vivian, a passenger wanted to ease herself
as they reached Monkra but as the driver tried to bring the vehicle to a halt,
it skidded due to the speed it was traveling at.
The Rhino cargo truck then somersaulted twice, Vivian said.
