No Artist Should Perform At My Funeral When I Die- Yaa Pono Warns

Ghanaian Hip pop and rapper Yaa Pono also known as Ponobiom has sent a stern warning to his fellow musicians not to come perform at his funeral if he dies.

He made this revelation on Okay FM during an interview with Abeiku Santana. He added that his family members including his dad, aunt and elder sister, are all aware of his decision of which they have agreed to.

Yaa Pono shockingly revealed that he was tired of music and does not need music during his wake.

“Let me make this clear to Ghanaians,” he said. “I’ve told my father, aunt and elder sister that, God forbid, if I die no music should be played at my funeral.”

He continued:

“No music there – I’m tired of music. No musician should step inthere to perform. That’s my death wish.”
