The
corpse of a chief called Akyeamehene, Kojo Amoashie has been reported stolen
from his palace by unknown armed men at Kasoa.
Akyeamehene Kojo Amoashie was the sub-chief at Kasoa Ofaakor in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
Adom news reports that, the corpse of the chief got stolen on Friday when he was laid in state at his palace at Kasoa.
In
an interview with Captain Smart on Adom FM Dwaso Nsem, it was revealed that
some armed men stormed the palace amidst shooting and stole the corpse. The
Asafoatse mentioned that the armed made aways with the corpse and the coffin in
a pick up vehicle they brought.
“They wanted to take away the black stool in the palace which I resisted but from no where, a policeman who wants to ascend the throne, appeared and fired more shots,”
he said.
