”Government Should Pay Musicians Because The Coronavirus Has Ruined A Lot Of Shows” – Patapaa Tells

One sensation icon of Agona Swedru, Patapaa is of the view that the government should bail musicians out in the hard times of the Coronavirus.

According to Patapaa, Ghanaian musicians are suffering because of the Coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown, they lost many opportunities to plays shows and make money.

“We have cancelled a lot ofshows already. at the moment, we can’t even buy waakye to eat. all the foodsellers have quarantine themselves.”

Patapaa, therefore, suggested that President Nana Akufo Addo should try and use a portion of the $100m to pay musicians so that they can also feed their family.

“Nana Addo should help usbecause, at the moment, things are hard. just give us a little of the 100million coronavirus budget.”

Many other artistes like Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Fameye, Edem, Kuami Eugene, et al. have all canceled their shows both local and abroad due to the pandemic coronavirus.
