Confirmed, Kevin-Prince Boateng is not interested in playing for the
Ghana senior national team, Black Stars again, according to head coach Charles
Akonnor.
Akonnor said he spoke with Boateng
over a possible return to the team but the attacker doesn’t want to play.
He said at his press conference to announce his first squad on Tuesday.
Kevin has not played for Black Stars since he was sacked from camp the Black Stars camp during the 2014 World Cup in 2014.
“I have
spoken to Kevin Prince Boateng over a possible return but he is not ready to
play for Ghana,” Akonnor said.
The 32-year-old has been capped 15
times by Ghana, scoring two goals.
