to a flying start with a thorough 6-1 throttling of Portland Timbers 2.
Phoenix Rising rose to the
occasion in emphatic manner with the reigning USL MVP, Solomon Asante, notching
two assists and a goal.
New boy Rufat Dadashov scored a hat trick with his first coming in the 13th minute.
Phoenix Rising hits the road
for its second regular season match of the season on Saturday, March 14, against
defending USL Champions Real Monarchs.
26 year old Ghanaian defender Owusu-Ansah Kontoh started and played full game for Phoenix Rising.
