Popular Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah
popularly known as Lil Win has threatened to beat up his colleague actor and
comedian, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, aka Funny Face, should he dare him in
an open fight.
The two have been at each other’s throats for almost two months now after Lil Win said in a media interview that Funny Face does not deserve to win the ‘Favorite Actor Award’ at the just ended Ghana Movie Awards.
He named some prominent comedians like
Kwaku Manu, Akrobeto and himself who he claims are more deserving of the award
than Funny Face.
In reacting, Funny Face described Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win as an envious person bent on destroying his fellows through evil ways instead of
celebrating their successes with them.
The seeming beef got very intense with a series of attacks from Funny Face who roped in his fellow colleagues in the industry, Kalybos, and Bismark, the joke for conspiring with Lil Win to end his marriage and tarnish his image.
“I dare Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win, Kalybos, Bismark the joke and
Sandra Ababio to say “Fiim Fiim” and see if I won’t reveal their secrets” he
said in a video on his Instagram page.
However, in defiance of the threat, Lil Win called the bluff of
Funny Face in an interview with actress Nana Ama McBrown on UTv, Saturday, May
09, 2020, monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
Lil Win stated that he will break Funny Face in any open fight should he dare him?
“I don’t know his wife. I can’t
convince the wife who has given birth to twins, Ella and Bella to leave him. I
mean, why will the woman even listen to me if I dare do such a thing. We are
all married and we know what marriage entails so I can’t tell a mother of two
to leave his husband, for what?
Can Funny Face beef me?… I don’t know where the ‘fiim fiim’ is
coming from but I will never say it.”
“You know, when you are beefing with
someone, you don’t attack his family. It is pure common sense. We are artists,
I am the one that has wronged you but if you take it further to insult my
mother and my family, you are not matured.
He took it personally and insulted me when I said he didn’t deserve
the favorite actor. I let it go although it was a factual statement, he acted
on emotions.
He further asked Funny Face to desist from attacking families and
relatives of people he beefs.
”I began this beef with him as a joke because he is my brother and
I was missing him so I just wanted to disturb him although I said some facts
about the award thing if you have issues with it and want to attack, attack
me personally and not my family.
We don’t do beef like that. He should come again.” Lil Win stated.
