Ghanaian gospel musician, songwriter, and singer Celestine Donkor
got Accra circuit court to bond Rev Obofour after he used her song “Agbebolo”
without her consent in an advertisement.
Earlier this year we reported on the case that, sensation gospel
singer Celestine Donkor has sued the leader of APC church Rev. Obofour for
using her song without official consultation.
The
court has order Rev Obofour to be of good behaviour from today forward as he
pleads guilty.
According to
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Emmanuel Nyamekye, she personally made
the complaint against him after he used the song on 31 December 2019.
The case was
presided over by Madam Eva Bannerman Williams whom after going through the
evidence presented ruled in favor of the “Agbebolo” hitmaker and made sure he
does the right thing the next time.
