The Director of Electoral Services at the Electoral Commission (EC) has stated that there will be no transfer of votes in the 2020 general election.
According to Dr. Serebour Quaicoe,
one must have registered 12 months prior to the transfer before his/her vote
would be transferred.
Beyond the Lockdown on JoyNews, Dr. Quaicoe says the electorate would be expected to register at where they reside or would be voting in December.
He, however, added that nobody will
qualify to transfer votes with less than six months to the election.
