Two Deputy Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) have reportedly also tested positive for COV-D-19.
This comes almost three days after
the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Authority, Dr. Lydia Dsane-Selby was
tested positive for the virus and is currently being quarantined in order to
receive medical care.
Globaltipsgh.com, understands that the two deputies tested positive after health professionals started contact tracing after the Chief Executive Officer tested positive for the novel COVID-19.
Among the executives who are said to
have contracted the virus are deputy CEO Finance and Investment, deputy CEO HR
and Administration and deputy CEO of Operations.
Meanwhile, further reports suggest that some Directors who work closely with the CEO have also tested positive.
So far, four government officials
have tested positive for the COVID-19 with one dead.
