The CEO of Burniton Music Group Stonebwoy has thrown shots at his former record label artiste Kelvynboy as he claims he was only interested in becoming his own boss in a few days and not to serve.
Stonebwoy speaking in an interview on City TV earlier today
revealed that artistes of today don’t want to serve their seniors when they are
under them but are only in a rush to make it like their seniors.
According to him, this generation of artistes only wants to become their own bosses in just a few days forgetting that they have to serve and learn from their seniors.
He made this known while talking about his relationship with his
musical father Samini and how he helped him become who he is today.
In the end, a mentor is ahead of you and as a mentee, you are
below the person. The way and manner you manage to get the best and get the
blessing of that person are very important. Sometimes your boss is strict but
the way you react to them, the way you receive these things as a mentee, as an
apprentice actually determines the love and the form of blessings of your
mentor. Its how you comport yourself and show your true value…but in Ghana most
often we find that the mentees and the apprentices they just want to become the
master in two days
