President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will today, address the nation on the country’s measures taken against the novel coronavirus so far.
The
President’s 13th address to the nation, since the outbreak of the dreaded viral
disease in the country, is scheduled to be televised at exactly 8:00 pm on all
major networks.
Tonight’s address is also anticipated to speak to measures put in place to protect final year Junior High School Students (JHS) who return to school tomorrow, Monday June 29, 2020 to prepare for their final examinations amid the pandemic.
Earlier in his 12th address, President
Akufo-Addo announced, among other measures, protocols instituted to ensure the
safety of all final year Senior High School students as well as gold track
Senior High School two (2) ahead of their return to the classroom.
He
also announced that government has absorbed the final examinations fees of all
the “Akufo-Addo graduates”, WASSCE candidates.
