Billboard has released a list of Top 15 Sub-Saharan African
Artistes whose content has gained a lot of views globally.
The list according to the music charting firm and magazine, was
curated by calculating global views for Sub-Saharan African Artists.
However, irrespective of the hard work, no Ghanaian artiste made it to the list of top 15 most viewed artistes in Sub-Saharan Africa.
This has come as a surprise to many, mainly because, Billboard
recently released a list of top 5 Most Watched Artistes in Ghana which
dancehall king Shatta Wale finds
himself in the coveted number one spot.
Meanwhilst, Nigerian artist Burnaboy took the lead with 435.57 million streams, with Tanzanian Diamond Platnumz coming in second with 291.98 million streams whiles Davido takes the third spot with 285.76 million.
