Ghanaian video vixen and actress Rosemond Alade Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo will be arraigned before court today July 3, 2020.
According
to sources at the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police
Service, her action is a violation of Section 280 and 280, Sub-section 25 of
the Criminal Act of 1960 which prohibits the willful and intentional indecent
exposure of one’s nakedness or genitals in any public place or platform.
A report on Mynewsgh.com also states that the mother of one is facing two charges of indecent assault to wit and obscenity and could be jailed up to three years or more if found guilty.
Akuapem Poloo has not had easy from
Ghanaians for the past days after she posted nude birthday photoshoot with her
7-year-old son.
She
has received a massive backlash from a section of the populace for what they
claim is inappropriate.
The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection of Ghana in statement dated July 1 2020 noted that “posting nude pictures on social media at all times is a serious offense and all must desist from the act” adding that sharing it I also an offence.
