The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) will on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, to Friday, July 10, 2020 close down its head office for fumigation exercise.
COCOBOD explained in a statement signed by
its Chief Executive that the fumigation exercise has become necessary due to a
“mass testing the organisation is currently undertaking which has resulted in
some staff members testing positive for COVID-19.”
COCOBOD said “normal work will continue without any destruction” during the closure, as “staff have been equipped with the necessary working tools to be able to work remotely from their homes.”
