A
leaked document in our possession indicates that Kessben FM and TV, a
subsidiary of Kessben Media has banned all songs and videos of highlife
artiste, Kwaisey Pee.
The
memo signed by one Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye cautioned workers at the Master
Control Room (MCR) and other on-air staff not to air the highlife musician’s
songs until further notice.
The
memo, however, failed to disclose the rationale behind their action.
“Notice is hereby served to MCR
and all On-Air staff to stop airing/playing of Kwaisey Pee’s songs on our
Premium Network until further notice.
“All staff MUST take note and
act accordingly. Thank You,” the memo read.
