Highlife/Afrobeat singer Fameye in an exclusive interview called
upon Ghana’s finest rapper Sarkodie to leave this year’s VGMA to the new
generation of artists.
Speaking during the interview, Fameye indicated that Sarkodie has
won so many international and local awards since he broke unto the music scene.
According to Fameye, Sarkodie does not need any award from VGMA
this year because he has won so many and have proven that he’s “The Highest”.
The ‘Notin I Get’ Hitmaker also waded into the award he wishes to
get have and stated that he deserves discovery of the year and Artiste of the
Year.
He explained that he has come far within a short period of time in
the music fraternity.
This year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will take place on 29th
August and 30th August respectively.
