Contractors Association of Ghana have registered their disappointment in the
ruling NPP government and Ghana First Company Limited for not paying their
monies to them.
Speaking to
Agyenkwa News reporter, Sofoba Kwame Afrifah, the Chairman for the Association,
Mr. Emmanuel Dapaah, they collected loans from banks for the construction of
several toilet facilities accross the country.
He said the
facilities included; 14 seater at the cost of (Ghc290,484.00), 16 seater
(Ghc326,259.36), 20 seater A (Ghc503,935.00 and 20 seater B.(Ghc333,676.00.
which at least four or more facilities can be found in every district in the
country.
“We want the
government or Ghana First Company Limited to either pay us or face our wrath.”
He stressed.
Mr. Dapaah also
added that government’s failure to do so will call for a huge demonstration or
serious campaign against the government.
