Two policemen have suffered various degrees of injuries after
the double-cabin Landcruiser pick-up they were traveling with was involved in
an accident in the Ahafo Region of Ghana.
According to MyNewsGh.com sources in the region, the Police
car with registration number GP 280 which was driven by Sergeant Bossman Aware
in the company, Corporal Evans Acheampong was crushed by a KIA Rhino with
registration number AS 6784-15 which was driven by 33-year-old Samuel Boateng.
Reports say the service vehicle which was from Akyirensua
direction of the road but was suddenly was run into by a KIA Rhino vehicle
leaving the occupants who were Police Personnel with several degrees of
injuries.
The two whose condition has been stabilized are currently
receiving treatment at the Tepa Government hospital according to police sources.
Meanwhile, driver of the KIA Rhino truck Samuel Boateng is in
Police custody assisting with investigations.
