Ghanaian
dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy has
broken silence on what actually happened at the recording of Sarkodie’s Black
Love virtual concert.
Recall,
a few months ago, Sarkodie’s BLACK LOVE concert was the talk of town as drama
unfolded during the recording of the event at the Black Star Square.
It
emerged that Stonebwoy, who had waited at backstage for his turn to perform
after four hours grew impatient and engaged Angel Town, Sarkodie’s manager in a
heated argument.
Rumours suggested that Stonebwoy physically assaulted Angel Town
in an altercation but later apologised, however, he was not allowed to perform
and was taken off the show.
Well, Stonebwoy has finally spoken
on what happened between himself, Angel Town, and Sarkodie.
He finally got the chance to tell his part of the story when he
was interviewed by Nigerian podcaster, Adesope Olajide.
According to Stonebwoy, he thinks
Sarkodie did not handle the matter with respect and made it seem as though he –
Stonebwoy – was a small boy who was coming to seek validation at his –
Sarkodie’s show.
He stated that whatever he went
there to do was out of love and respect he had for Sarkodie, and it hurts him
that the Award-winning rapper did not tell the true story when he had the
chance to do so.
