John Dumelo has
been true to his promise of giving out some 4,000 laptops to some selected
tertiary students in his constituency, Ayawaso West Wuogon.
On August 25, 2020, John Dumelo promised to disburse these
laptops to students at the tertiary level who for one reason or the other could
not purchase one for themselves.
The
2020 NDC parliamentary candidate promised to give out these laptops to aid
these students in their studies which will be funded by the John Dumelo
Foundation.
Well, today, John Dumelo has shared a video on his social media
timeline which gives a vivid account of the commencement of the disbursement of
the HP laptops to these students.
In
the video, these students expressed profound gratitude to the kind gesture of
the aspiring legislator and spoke about how these laptops will go a long way in
aiding them in their studies.
John Dumelo, in
his bid to unseat the current MP Madam Lydia Alhassan, has embarked on several
social and economic interventions for constituents to give him a favourable
edge over his competitor come December 7, 2020.
Whatever the motives are, John Dumelo has demonstrated a strong
desire to lead and serve the people of Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency. But as
to whether he will be given the nod after the polls is certainly the
prerogative of the constituents
