The West Africa Examination
Council has cancelled the entire results of 480 candidates who sat for this
year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) for school
candidates.
Their results have been
cancelled for bringing mobile phones into the examination hall.
Meanwhile, the entire
results of 384 candidates have been withheld pending the conclusion of
investigations into various cases of examination detected during and after the
conduct of the examination.
These were indicated in a press release signed by the Head of
Public Affairs of WAEC, Agnes Teye-Cudjoe, announcing the release of this
year’s WASSCE results.

(Core): 243,904 (65.71%) obtained A1-C6;

Science: 196,891 (52.53%) obtained A1-C6
