A 55-year-old
man named Yesufu Salisu has been arrested by operatives of the Ogun State
Police Command for being in possession of dried human skulls and hands in Ogun
State.
Reports from
Vanguard have it that the suspect was arrested on Monday after a report was
lodged at the Ago Iwoye Police Division. From the photo, it can be deducted
that Salisu is suffering from an unknown ailment on one of his legs as it
appears to be extra large.
Details of the
arrest was confirmed by spokesperson Ogun State Police command DSP Abimbola
Oyeyemi on Tuesday, November 24.
Oyeyemi disclosed that Salisu was caught with a bag suspected
to be filled with stolen property. However, when he was questioned he fled but
he was immediately apprehended.
In his words;
“On interrogation, the suspect confessed harvesting the human
parts from one Christian cemetery in oke eri Ijebu ode together with one Lekan
Bakare who is now at large”.
He further disclosed that Salisu’s accomplice us currently in
the rim buy will soon be brought to justice. The Commissioner of Police, CP
Edward Awolowo Ajogun has directed that the case be transferred to the State
CID for investigation.
