Calvin Anele
Ngcongca was a South African professional footballer. He played for AmaZulu
before his death. On 29 August 2015, he joined Troyes AC on a season-long loan
from Racing Genk after being relegated to the bench by his head coach.
The
33-year-old footballer reportedly died in a ghastly accident on Monday,
November 23, 2020. Report also has it that he was close to joining Amazulu FC
on a loan deal with an option of joining the club should he impress them in his
first year.
The sad part
it all is that he did not get the chance to play a match for his new club. The
late player started off his career at Fortuve FC in 2003 and spent about 4
years with them before moving to Belgium. He played in Belgium from 2007 till
2016 and also spent his last season with them on laon at Troyes in France.
At the end of the season, he moved back home to South Africa
where he joined Mamelodi Sundowns until he agreed to join Amazulu on loan this
year.
