Head
of the National Communication Bureau of the opposition National Democratic
Congress (NDC) has confessed that Bishop Daniel Angel Obinim’s “It is over”
mantra at his church auditorium is true.
It would be recalled the leader and founder of the
International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim has a jargon (‘It Is Over’ –
Abroso oo Abroso’) which he always refers to his church members.
Speaking in a telephone interview with Kwame Nkrumah Tikesie this Friday, November 27, 2020, on the Okay FM Ade Akye Abia morning show, Mr. Sammy Gyamfi indicated that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and his New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, are currently swimming in a pool of corruption scandals.
Mr. Sammy Gyamfi further confessed that corruption is
recorded under every government in Ghana, but what is happening under Nana Addo
Dankwa Akufo Addo is more than ever.
“Corruption has been an old age problem in Ghana
which almost every government has recorded one scandal or the other, but this
time under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo, it is more than ever. This is the same thing
Bishop Angel Daniel Obinim has been saying to his church members always,
‘Abroso ooo! Abroso!!’. The corruption is above this country now. It is no more
acceptable”. Mr. Sammy Gyamfi noted.
Mr. Sammy Gyamfi mentioned the Anas number 12 documentary on
the Ghana Football Association, the Missing excavators, Anas galamsey fraud
documentary, and many others as the scandals that have hit the Akufo Addo
government in his first term as president.
“Anas
did number 12 documentary with Ahmed Sualley and Kennedy Agyapong threatened
them with harm and death. He spread their pictures all over national television
and social media. Ahmed Sualley died a painful death. Martin Amidu, was
appointed to fight corruption and look at what has happened to him.
Charles Bissue works with Akufo Addo as a
presidential staffer, he was captured in Galamsey fraud expose by Anas, nothing
has happened to him till today. Look at the missing excavator saga.
Akufo Addo has disappointed Ghanaians as the most
corrupt President Ghana has ever had. The corruption fight is over. It is now
above him.” Mr. Sammy Gyamfi added.
In the meantime, Mr. Sammy Gyamfi is inviting
Ghanaians to join the NDC at the Obra Spot on Monday in Accra, for a historic
walk on the streets to express their displeasure to the NPP Government.
“That is why on Monday we are marching for probity
and accountability. John Mahama will be part, and we will tell Akufo Addo to
give us back our monies from corruption. Contract for sale scandal and many
others. We are collecting our monies or he loses on December 7”. Sammy Gyamfi
revealed.
