The vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic
Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has mourned with the
families of NDC activists who lost their lives due to the violence that
characterized the just-ended general elections
A total of 61
cases leading to the death of six people were reported nationwide including the
recent death of Ibrahim Abbass, the young NDC activist shot at a collation
centre in the Ablekuma Central constituency.
Abbass died on
Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Opoku-Agyemang visited the family of the deceased
to commiserate with them.
She also
visited the injured in the hospital and those discharged in their homes.
Addressing the violence that took place in the just-ended
elections in a Facebook post, the former education minister assured that the
NDC shall not rest until the perpetrators are brought to justice as she shares
pictures of the families she visited.

I ALSO VISITED THE INJURED IN HOSPITAL AND THOSE DISCHARGED IN THEIR HOMES.
