Apostle Opoku Nyina cautions prophets not to predict the winners of an impending election and to refrain from foretelling the death of people.
Apostle
Professor Kwadwo Nimfour Opoku Onyinah is a Ghanaian theologian, a
televangelist, a composer, and the fifth chairman of The Church of Pentecost
from 2008 to 2018.
According to
him, such prophecies creates panic in the country.
He also added that the duty of a prophet is to lead the
society to God.
He made these remarks whilst delivering a sermon at the NPP
nations Thanksgiving service on the theme, Ebenezer, thus how far the Lord has
helped us.
A TRUE PROPHET MUST BE NEUTRAL OF KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM THAT THEIR PROPHECIES DO NOT CAUSE PANIC. MY PLEA TO OUR PROPHETS IS NOT TO PROPHESY ON YOU WILL DIE AND WILL LOSE AN ELECTION. OUR DUTY AS PROPHETS MUST BE TO LEAD SOCIETY’S FACE TO GOD
