Fellow Ghanaians, the President
of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, will on December 20, 2020 address
the nation on COVID-19 and matters arising.
The address by the President
will centre on the measures put in place by government to help curb the spread
of the virus.
Covid-19 active cases in Ghana
have increased according to the Ghana Health Service through their website.
The country has recorded an
increasing number of cases thereby shooting the number of active cases which
was below 500 some months ago to about 1,000 cases recently.
The number of COVID-19 deaths in
Ghana stands at 331.
