Afia Schwar has finally disclosed why she decided to ditch
the opposition National Democratic Congress for the ruling NPP.
She says she was never an NDC member to start with.
According to Afia, she has had it with people
painting her black and claiming she betrayed John Mahama because she did not.
She says she only campaigned for the NDC in 2016 because she loves John Mahama
and equally believed in his policies.
Afia reveals that she sacrificed a lot for the party
then and nearly missed her own traditional marriage ceremony because she was on
the road campaigning for John
Mahama.
On why she ditched the NDC after
all that she is claiming to have done for them, she said although she was
skeptical into believing Nana Addo free SHS would suffice, it did and her
children plus a lot more people enjoyed it hence she decided to throw her weight
behind them.
She says she believes in
policies and if Nana
Addo fails at delivering them, she would campaign against him in 2024-—
it has nothing to do with betrayal.
