Honourable Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy
Agyapong has been captured on camera sleeping at president Nana Akufo-Addo‘s last State Of Nation Address (SONA 2021).
As the law demands
that the incumbent president addresses the nation before inauguration of
another Parliament, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo on Tuesday, 5 2021
gave his last address of the nation in the 7th Parliament before it elapses for
the next Parliament house to come to effect.
At the event, SONA
2021, the minority members of parliament were all present with former
presidents like John Agyekum Kofour also being present at the event just to
mention few.
Outspoken MP, Kennedy
Agyapong appeared on candid camera as he was spotted sleeping during
Akufo-Addo’s delivery in parliament.
Kennedy Agyapong was seen seated at the back flanked by
Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and some other dignitaries.
Kennedy Agyapong appeared to be slouching in his seat as
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo delivered his final State of the Nation
address of the 7th Parliament of Ghana’s 4th Republic.
The outspoken Assin Central MP was seen wearing an African print
while observing strict COVID-19 protocols in the hall but it appeared his eyes
were not observing any protocol at all.
Honourable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on the other hand was looking
straight into the camera of the shot that appeared to have been taken by one of
the official photographers of the event.
