A brother and sister have been arrested for masterminding the
murder of a popular Instagram makeup artist, Ijeoma Neke.
Somewhere November 2020 Ijeoma Nweke went missing with no traces after a makeup appointment in Enugu, Nigeria.
On Wednesday November 11, 2020, the makeup artist left home for a gig and never returned.
The client who booked her picked
here up at a bus stop but when she started sensing danger she texted the
client’s number to her brother, the last time her family heard from her.
On reaching the destination with
the client, she suspected she’s been tricked so she texted her friend.
Few minutes later Ijeoma was
forced to drink a poisonous substance by her client Chiamaka and her brother
Emeka.
Days after no news about her whereabout, her family
and friends made news of her disappearance viral and few days later her dead
body was discovered.
‘Justice For Ijeoma’ was launched on social media and
thankfully the culprits Chiamaka and her brother were arrested.
On February 3, 2020, they were arraigned before court and it appeared that Chiamaka lured Ifeoma to be murdered as a revenge for having an affair with her boyfriend.
A witness confessed to the Enugu Magistrate Court that the
suspects poured acid on the deceased after dumping her lifeless body.
