Hearts Of Oak Name Laryea Kingston As Interim Coach

The Hearts of Oak Board of directors have appointed the 40-year-old as the club's head coach on interim basis.

Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have named Laryea Kingston as an interim coach until further notice.

The former Black Stars winger is joining the Phobians as a replacement for Kosta Papic who resigned from his position earlier this week.

Kingston has been enriching his CV after ending his illustrious football career with coaching attachment at FC Nordsjaelland and its affiliate club Right to Dream Academy.

He is rejoining the Capital based club now as a coach after playing for them in the 2000s.

The ex-Black Stars kingpin will be in the dugout for the Phobians in their match-week 15 game against Ebusua Dwarfs this weekend.

Kingston featured for several clubs in Europe including Al Ittihad, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Locomotiv Moscow, Heart of Midlothian, Vitesse Arnhem among others.

He played for the senior national team of Ghana from 2002 to 2010 where he made 41 caps, scoring six times.
