The lawyers for the 1st and 2nd
respondent said the case between the Petitioner Mr. John Mahama and
the EC including the Declared winner wasn’t substantial to call
witnesses to testify from their point of view. Yesterday all lawyers made legal
arguments, in an attempt to win the minds of the bench.
Why at all will she want to skip
the cross-examination if she knows the right thing was done.
According to private legal
practitioner, Mr Martin Kpebu Esq,
” you are 200% sure, your respondents have weak evidence if they want to skip
cross examination”. The elections seemed to have been flawed, and the public
domain has almost lost their trust in the EC, so it’s imperative on the part of
the EC to come and clear its name of any wrongs during the elections.
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah made it
point blank that the Powerful woman won’t be testifying, could this be true?
Let’s remember that all parties filed witnesses during the case management
stage and will need to abide by it.
The EC and second respondent
filled Jean Mensah and Peter Mac Manu who happened to be the campaign manager
for the NPP in the 2020 general elections.
It certainly promises to be the
battle of brains when Tsatsu gets his pleas granted. The powerful woman will
explain to the world the allegations laid against Her and the suspected rigging
of the elections. Why she continually changed the results will as well to made
known to the world.
Jean Mensah is a lawyer by
profession, she has practiced for almost 20 years and should be conversant with
proceedings and how to carry herself to avoid unnecessary tensions in the
court.
Irrespective of all this, she
will have a tough time with Tsatsu Tsikata.
She will Testify to the nation,
that is certain.
The ball will soon be in the
court of Tsatsu, Ghanaian’s are waiting anxiously to listen to one of the best
cross examination we will ever see.
Who will come out top?
Will Tsatsu smile at the end of
the Day?
Will the powerful woman carry
the show again?
Meanwhile Alban Sumana Bagbin,
speaker of Parliament has suspended seatings due to the rising number of cases
in the Chamber.
Also the Parliamentary vetting
committee will start it’s work today.
