Nine more persons have lost
their lives after been infected by the deadly COVID-19 virus in the latest
update shared by the Ghana Health Service.
This moves Ghana’s total
COVID-19 deaths from 440 to 449.
Also, 791 new cases have moved
the country’s total active cases from 6,086 to 6, 095.
There are calls on the President
of Ghana to lock down the country in order to control the spread of the virus.
However, the President has
rather restricted social gatherings across the country whiles the country’s
borders by land and by sea remain closed.
