Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have announced their lofty sponsorship deal from Sunon Asogli Power Ghana Limited on Monday afternoon.
The deal will see Sunon Asogli Power Ghana Limited as the
club's official shirt sponsor will be unveiled this week.
The Board Chairman of Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV confirmed their agreement with Sunon Asogli Power Ghana Limited to become the office headline sponsor of the one-time CAF Champions League winners during the official unveiling ceremony of Samuel Boadu as the new head coach of the club.
Sunon Asogli Power Ltd is a modern, high efficient, environmentally friendly, natural gas fuel combine cycle power plant situated at Tema, Accra owned by Shenzhen Energy Group Company Ltd and the China African Development Fund.
Sunon Asogli Power (Ghana) Limited is jointly owned by Shenzhen Energy Group Company Ltd (shares 60%) and the China African Development Fund (shares 40%).
Hearts of Oak have been without a shirt sponsor for the past seasons after contract with Strategic Africa Securities (SAS), owned by the majority individual shareholder and Executive Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV expired in 2014.
Hearts of Oak have GOIL and StarLife Assurance as their fuel and
insurance partners with Umbro as their official kit suppliers.
Also, the
Capital-based club have deals with GTV Sports Plus, Financial Technology firm
Cloud Africa, SAS Finance Group, Koflex Gym and Software and Firmware
developers Bitsweaver Limited.
