Aduana Stars centre-back Farouk Adams was present at the Berekum Circuit Court this afternoon as there wasn't any final verdict but rather has been ordered to spend another 14 days in the Police custody until the final hearing.
The stalwart defender was at the Fiapre Circuit Court last Wednesday and was ordered to be taken back and report the next day which is today, this time in Berekum.
The 31-year-old after the unfortunate incident last Monday
night, has been charged with two accounts; careless and inconsiderate driving
and negligently causing harm.
Having stood in the box at 12:00pm today, two charges were labelled against the Aduana Stars man by the Judge of which he refused to otter a word in his entire hearing but rather allowed his lawyer Baffour Akoto to speak on his behalf.
After listening to the submissions from the various angles
especially that of Farouk's Lawyer, the Judge, Lordship Osei Kofi Amoako has
ordered for the player to be taken back to the Wamfie Police Station for
another two weeks and will return on Thursday, March 18, 2021 for another
sitting.
