Premier League giants Chelsea FC are reportedly edging closer
to their first summer signing with them said to have made an official offer to
sign Brazilian wonder kid Gabriel Menino in a potential sensational transfer.
Reports from
TNT Sports (as revealed by reputable journalist Simon Phillips), the Blues have
submitted an official offer of £13million to Palmeiras and that the Brazilian
club could accept the bid due to the financial crisis that they are facing at the
moment as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Gabriel Menino
has been a huge revelation at the Allianz Parque Stadium with his versatility
making him to be tipped to be one of the best stars in the world of football.
The 20 year old can play as a right back as well as across the midfield
positions and hence, the new Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel sees him as a
potential future star at the Stamford Bridge.
Despite
presenting the official offer, the London club will have to convince the player
to consider the Stamford Bridge move with a number of top clubs across Europe
including Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham Hotspurs among others all eyeing
the promising midfielder.
