The Phobians have been on the market
scouting for a defender to bolster their defense for the second round of the
ongoing Premier league season.
According to a source close to the
club, Hearts of Oak are close to agreeing on a deal for former Aduana Stars and
WAFA center-back Caleb Amankwah.
The center-back is now a free agent
after ending his 3 years stint with Aduana Stars last year.
Caleb Amankwah is not short of
admirers, the 23-year old has been the wanted list of the likes of Medeama,
Asante Kotoko, Legon Cities, AshantiGold etc. But according to a source, the
player is a foot away from joining Hearts of Oak.
Should a deal be sealed, Caleb
Amankwah will become Hearts of Oak’s second signing this transfer window after

The Phobians currently sit 3rd on the
