Hearts Of Oak Grant Two Days Break To Twelve Regular First-Team Players

 

 



Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have granted a two-day break to twelve of their team players as the league proceeds on a short-term break.

The first round of the campaign came to a close over the weekend.

Hearts of Oak broke camp in the wake of their impressive 4-0 victory against WAFA SC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The team resumed training on Tuesday afternoon at the St Aquinas Park.

However, twelve (12) first team players have been given a two-day rest.

The players that have been granted this rest featured in almost all the seventeen (17) games in the first round.

Salifu Ibrahim is the only player who played less matches for the team due to his late arrival from Techiman Eleven Wonders where he was a key cog.

The second stanza of the Ghana Premier League is scheduled to resume on Friday, March 19, 2021.

The Phobians finished the first round in 4th position with 27 points from 17 matches.
