Hearts Of Oak In Talks To Sign Victorien Adebayor

The Phobians have reportedly opened talks to acquire the services of the talented attacker for their season's campaign.

Ghana Premier League heavyweights Accra Hearts of Oak have reignited their interest in signing Niger international Victorien Adebayor in the ongoing transfer window.

Adebayor completed a three-year move to Danish second-tier club HB Koge from Inter Allies in October 2020 for an undisclosed fee.

According to multiple reports in the local media, the Phobians have commenced negotiations with the representatives of the former Inter Allies star who is on his way to Ghana to join a club in the Premier League after failing to live up to expectations at the Danish club.

The 24-year-old has been struggling for playing time at Danish side HB Koge but that has not deterred the Phobians from his pursuit having penciled him down for the past season.

Adebayor is yet to make competitive debut for HB Koge since his arrival at club and has been out ed action for the past weeks due to back pains.

It's believed that Premier League side Legon Cities have also expressed interest in signing the two-time Inter Allies' season top scorer to bolster their squad.

The representatives of Victorien Adebayor, Heritage Soccer Agency are also the agent of Hearts of Oak midfielder Mamane Lawali who joined them prior to the start of the 2020/21 season.

Before leaving Inter Allies, Adebayor scored nineteen goals in his 25 Premier League appearances for the 'Eleven is to One'lads for the two seasons.

Hearts of Oak are hoping to wrestle with top clubs on the continent in the next three years and have already signed Techiman Eleven Wonders talisman Salifu Ibrahim and former Medeama SC gaffer Samuel Boadu as the club's new head coach.
