Chelsea might have
being hit with another huge injury blow this International break after the
club’s winger Callum Hudson-Odoi was omitted from England’s U-21 squad to face
Portugal on Sunday night.
Callum’s injury is
the second casualty Chelsea have had in this International break. The first
came in mid-week when N’golo Kante was reported to have picked up an injury
prior to France game against Ukraine.
According to Goal correspondent
Nizaar Kinsella, Hudson-Odoi picked up a shoulder injury in training yesterday
which made miss England’s crucial game against the Portugal U-21 team.
Callum Hudson-Odoi picked up a knock in training to his shoulder and is unavailable to face Portugal tonight. A huge blow for the #YoungLions but they are confident he will be fit for the last game against Croatia. #CFC

The England U-21 seemed to miss Callum against Portugal as they lost 2-0 to the Portuguese side, now failing to score a goal in two consecutive games.
However, there’s some good news for Chelsea fans as well as
England U-21 as it was further reported that winger’s shoulder injury isn’t
very serious and he is expected to be available for their final group game
against Croatia on Wednesday.
N’golo Kante on the other hand have returned back to London
to continue his rehabilitation process.
