Fast-rising Ghanaian drill
musical sensation, Yaw Tog‘s elder sister, Phaney causes
stir on the internet after catching attention of the public.
Phaney
popped up on Friday, 12 March in a video congratulating her younger brother,
Yaw Tog for breaking the Ghana YouTube record with the visuals of his “Sore
Remix”.
Phaney was
proud of Yaw Tog’s achievement with his Sore Remix on YouTube which had raked
in over 1.3 million views in just 3 days.
The
song featured UK’s sensational singer Stormzy and Ghana’s very own
award-winning artiste, Kwesi Arthur. Yaw Tog’s name has travelled far and wide
within a short period of time following this remarkable YouTube showing.
Phaney and Yaw Tog were
sitting on what appeared to be a couch in a living room, and she wrote “congratulations baby boo” on top of the video.
Another
reason behind why many were tagging Phaney as Yaw Tog’s girlfriend is her
caption where she referred to the singer and rapper as her “baby boo”.
But Yaw Tog and Phaney have a striking resemblance, particularly when it comes to their foreheads and lips.
When people started tagging her as his girlfriend, she reacted, revealing herself as Yaw Tog’s elder sister.
