Nollywood legendary actor Oludotun Baiyewu Jacobs, also known as Olu Jacob is one of the Nollywood iconic actors who played an important role in the growth of the Nollywood industry. He earned a lot of love and respect for Nigerians with his unique ways of interpreting his roles. The energetic man who normally plays the role of a king in most of his movies was among the likes of Patience Ozokwor, Pete Edochie, Late Sam Loco and other top Nollywood Legends who ruled the Nollywood industry during their own time.
However, it is quite disheartening that the internationally acclaimed Nollywood actor has been out of our screens for the past few years, as he has never shown up in any movie even till this time.
Moreover, not only that Olu Jacob has been absent in Nollywood for the past few days, it breaks my heart to let you that he may not be seen in Nollywood ever again, due to some reasons.
At first, the case of Olu Jacob growing very old now is one of the major factors that hamper him not to be ever seen in Nollywood again. By July 2021, Olu Jacob will be clocking 79 years, and it is practically impossible for him to every cope with acting. At such age, being in touch with his family and having good time with them will be his priority.
Olu Jacob is one actor that many Nigerians will love to have back to Nollywood, but amidst his old age, it is quite disheartening that we can’t bring to screen again. We so much Miss his movies.
