Sam Allardyce got a
vital win over Thomas Tuchel defensively weak Chelsea side to help his side to
propel his West Brom side hopefully out of relegation.
Tuchel team started the game well until Jorginho two times
misplaced pass opened up Chelsea Defense with Thiago silva doing his best to
take control of the situation, him taking control over the situation led to him
being sent off over a nasty tackle shortly after Chelsea got the lead from a
Marcos Alonso freekick that bounced off the Goalkeeper to Christian Pulisic
feet.
Conceding 5 goals in a game where Tuchel has only managed
to concede only twice during his unbeaten run speaks volume of how non-existent
Chelsea Defense line was during the game, Chelsea missed the presence of either
Andreas Christensen and Thiago Silva two players that stabilized Chelsea
Defensive setup.
Tuchel starting line up wasn’t perfect either as him putting
Mason Mount on the bench limited Chelsea Attacking Prowress as there was
literally nobody to create chances for Chelsea. Shortly after Mason mount was
introduced in the second half of the game mount and Werner combined to give
Chelsea the second goal “a goal one can term as a consolation goal”.
Mendy was out of shape during the game probably because he
just recovered from the illness that prevented him from going to represent his
country during the international break.
